Isn't It A Pity

We're going to stick with the Pacer routine for the second post of this illustrious blog as the team's co-owner, Herb Simon, finally spoke out about the team in Saturday's edition of the IndyStar. I think I've heard both of them speak only once (when Reggie retired) since I became a fan in 1993, so when they do speak up, it's pretty damn important. This time, however, it's about two years late on their parts. Herb basically says he's going to step in during the summer and stop focusing on Simon Gift Cards to his billion malls and start cleaning house, again, just about two years late on that one. The biggest question will be what happens to Donnie Walsh and Larry Bird. Are they out, or do they stick around 2-3 more years through the rebuilding process as Bob Kravtiz questioned today. I'm counting on missing the playoffs this year (somehow we're still only 2 1/2 games out of the playoffs...shitty East) and missing it next year, but by then, trades, lottery draft picks and expiring contracts ought to provide enough support for my boy Danny Granger and the great white (ticket-selling) hope, Mike Dunleavy. Anyways...Go Pacers!

Boxers...not briefs
Wisconsin clinched the Big Ten regular season title with a win yesterday. Not impressed. The problem for other teams now is that D.J. White is going to play every game like its his laster and guess what, so is
Eric Gordon cuz they both won't be back next year. Look out NCAA, here come the Hoosiers!

Blizzard back home (only 1 hour away from me). Glad to be in sunny Indy!

It's Beetles, with an A
So Ringo's moaning about being linked with The Beatles these days. He better watch it. Paul could easily replace Ringo with Pete Best and everything would come full circle. As John once said, "the other two are replaceable." Ringo's on notice.

You tube...no, you're a tube
Amazing new trailer for the Hills continuation of season 3. So much drama. Apparently Heidi and Spencer are on the outs (he only cheated on her..c'mon!) so we'll see where that leads. Also, regular tv (i.e. The Office, Scrubs) returns on April 3 and thank God for that. Life is too short not to have new shows airing in January and February of your favorite shows.
